OES is pleased to announce the renewal of its strategic partnership with Western Sydney University, reinforcing a shared commitment to delivering high quality online education for students across Australia and beyond.
Since the launch of WSU Online in 2017, the partnership has grown significantly. What began with two undergraduate programs has evolved into a portfolio of ten programs supporting thousands of students.
This progress reflects the dedication of both organisations, including the leadership of Distinguished Professor George Williams AO and the many academic and professional teams who bring WSU Online to life.
Denice Pitt, Chief Executive Officer of OES, said:
“We are proud to continue our partnership with Western Sydney University as we work together to expand access to quality online education. WSU Online is built on shared values and a shared ambition to support students to succeed in ways that are flexible, personalised and meaningful. I want to acknowledge Distinguished Professor George Williams AO for his leadership, along with the academic and professional teams across both organisations who bring this partnership to life every day.”
Dr Karen Harvey, Partnership Director for WSU Online, said:
“The renewal of this partnership reflects the strength of the relationship between Western Sydney University and OES. Our shared purpose has created online learning pathways that empower students to thrive, no matter their background or life circumstances.”
“The ongoing success of WSU Online reflects a strong alignment between both organisations in academic excellence, digital innovation and a focus on positive student outcomes. We are excited to continue working together to meet the needs of today’s learners.”
Throughout the partnership, academic leaders, faculty Deans, and university colleagues across the schools have played vital roles in shaping the quality and direction of WSU Online.
Together with the OES student support, learning design, and teaching teams, the partnership has consistently delivered flexible study options that enable learners to balance education with work, family and community commitments.
Testimonials from students continue to highlight the impact of WSU Online on their educational journeys, with many describing online study as an achievable pathway that fits seamlessly into their lives.
With this renewed partnership OES and Western Sydney University will continue to explore new opportunities to enhance online learning models, apply emerging technologies, and strengthen program offerings that prepare graduates for success in a rapidly evolving world.
