Aston Online gains momentum with OES’s new home in the Birmingham Innovation Precinct

We’re excited to share that OES UK has officially moved into a larger space at John Cadbury House, working alongside our partners at Aston University right on campus in Birmingham.

This move marks another milestone in our growing partnership with Aston. Following a highly successful first year of Aston Online, our team has expanded, and our new, fit-for-purpose office provides the ideal space for continued collaboration and growth.

Through Aston Online, we’re proud to deliver a portfolio of innovative, high-quality online degrees across business, computer science, psychology and public health. Together, OES’s expertise in online learning and Aston’s academic excellence are enabling more students to access flexible, career-relevant education from a leading UK university.

We’re also proud to be the first member of Aston University’s Birmingham Innovation Precinct, a new initiative bringing together education, research, and industry partners to drive innovation and economic growth in the region.

The opportunity to co-work and collaborate together at John Cadbury House reinforces both organisations’ commitment to transforming education through innovation and contributes to the development of Birmingham as a hub for global education and research collaboration.

And relocating to this exciting precinct means we’re even closer to our Aston colleagues as we continue to collaborate, learn from one another, and deliver outstanding outcomes for students around the world.

We celebrated the move with a morning tea at our new office, joined by Vice Chancellor Professor Aleks Subic, Deputy Vice Chancellor Professor Osama Khan, Director of Aston Online Simon Willans, and Clare Noakes from Aston University.

It was a great opportunity to connect with each other and to mark the next chapter in our partnership, which is filled with opportunities to innovate and grow our shared impact on student success outcomes.

Andrea Burrows, Managing Director of OES UK, reflected on the milestone:

Our continued growth and move to a larger office space within John Cadbury House reflects the strength and maturity of the partnership between OES and Aston University.

Together, we’re building on a strong foundation to deliver outstanding outcomes for students and OES team members.

The entire OES UK team are thrilled to call John Cadbury House home and to keep driving exceptional online learning experiences alongside Aston University.
