Construct Education is becoming OES. New name, same team, and same commitment to online learning excellence.
California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) partnered with OES to develop customizable, standardized online courses that align with its academic vision and support a high-quality, scalable online learning experience.
OES used a collaborative, “follow the sun” approach, with our Cape Town-based team working around the clock to support CSUCI’s timeline. The team, including learning strategists, designers, and technologists, created a master course template to ensure consistency and quality across all courses.
A workshop was held with CSUCI stakeholders to establish a program-level learning strategy and framework, develop a visual style guide, and create a course shell and templates. These elements were signed off by CSUCI to ensure alignment. Group training sessions further supported subject-matter experts (SMEs), clarifying roles and timelines—making the course development process efficient and coordinated. This setup required about 130–150 hours of SME engagement, streamlining the execution process.
Templates, clear timelines, and firm scope management ensured consistency and flexibility, allowing faculty to customize courses while maintaining a cohesive brand. Construct’s team also provided options for additional multimedia, enhancing the learning experience with adaptable design elements.
