AI IN EDUCATION

Dr. Christine Levinson is an education expert specializing in learning design, leadership, and instructional innovation. As a former Senior Learning Architect at OES Learning Solutions, she bridges commercial and operational functions to support sales and educational project success. Previously, she secured key accounts at Grammarly through AI-driven solutions and led online program design at Noodle. With experience as a professor at Whittier College and an assistant principal at USC Hybrid High, she drives innovation in teaching and leadership. Christine holds an Ed.D. from USC and is a National Board Certified Teacher.

Casandra Silva Sibilin is a Lecturer of Philosophy at York College, CUNY, where she coordinates the Philosophy discipline. Her work explores philosophy of education, AI in education, and teacher training. A Mellon Transformative Learning in the Humanities Fellow, she leads faculty workshops on AI literacy and adoption. Casandra’s research includes Education and the Epistemological Crisis in the Age of ChatGPT, examining AI’s impact on learning. She actively promotes AI integration in education, empowering educators to navigate emerging technologies. Casandra also serves as a CUNY Innovative Teaching Academy Fellow, advancing innovative pedagogical approaches.

Dr. Doreen Mayrell is the Vice President of Academics and SME Team Lead at LearnWith.AI, where she leads AI-driven education initiatives. She pioneered a flipped AI classroom model, enhancing student engagement through AI tutoring and real-world applications. At LearnWith.AI, she spearheads the development of AI-powered tools like TeachTap and Magic Academy. A recognized thought leader, Doreen was named a 2025 EDSAFE AI Alliance Women in AI Fellow for her contributions to AI in education. Passionate about the intersection of AI and learning, she is dedicated to shaping innovative, technology-enhanced educational experiences.

Dr. Kristen Linton is an Associate Professor of Health Science at California State University Channel Islands. She serves as a Digital Learning Mentor in Artificial Intelligence, recognized for her early and innovative integration of AI in the classroom. Her work includes developing interactive “AI Patients” using Playlab.ai to enhance health science education, as well as leveraging AI tools for data analysis and assessment.

Dr. Lorna Gonzalez has been an educator for 20 years, twelve of which have been in higher education. She currently serves as Assistant Vice–President for Digital Learning at California State University Channel Islands, USA. Lorna oversees a professional team of learning designers, academic technologists, and specialists in academic media and accessibility. She contributes leadership to university-wide digital learning and innovation initiatives and writes about emerging technologies and learning for professional and scholarly venues. Lorna co-authored a book chapter titled ‘Pandemic Fever Pitch Terms That Defined a Moment in Higher Education‘ in ‘Recentering Learning: Complexity, Resilience, and Adaptability in Higher Education‘ (2024).
