Construct Education is becoming OES. New name, same team, and same commitment to online learning excellence.
The A21 Campaign, a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to abolishing human trafficking, engaged OES Learning Solutions to develop a comprehensive online K–12 training program as part of its prevention, awareness, and education efforts. The program launched in 2022 reaching over 300k learners across three US states.
We worked with the A21 Campaign team to create a digital learning solution to be rolled out at scale, enabling the curriculum to reach as many schools, districts, and learners as possible. A21 had developed 13 grade-level courses (one for each grade from K to 12), and our goal was to achieve their vision within a lean budget and tight timelines.
To maximize efficiency, we leveraged A21’s well-structured content to create a template course on Canvas, incorporating all recurring elements. We then duplicated this for each grade and edited it accordingly. This template-based approach saved time and ensured consistency and quality across all courses.
Our team focused on a student-centered design, particularly given the young age of some students. Visual aids and scaffolding were integrated to support reading comprehension and engagement, ensuring the material was accessible and effective for all grade levels. Throughout the project, we worked closely with A21 to ensure the content was both accurate, age-appropriate, and sensitive to the subject matter.

Enhanced Student Awareness
Through interactive lessons, students gained essential knowledge about human trafficking, helping them to recognize and report suspicious behavior.
Teacher Empowerment
Over 1,300 educators received comprehensive training, giving them the skills and confidence to deliver sensitive content effectively.
Widespread Implementation
The curriculum was successfully launched in Michigan, Texas, and Florida, reaching over 300,000 K-12 students in its first semester.
Life-Saving Intervention
The program’s success was underscored by the rescue of a vulnerable student in Michigan, demonstrating its real-world impact.
“We were grateful for the team’s availability to answer questions after the engagement was finished. There were a few things that came up that we couldn’t figure out on our own and the team was quick to respond and help. They also were interested to hear about the long-term impact of the project which meant a lot to our team.”
