Ant brings more than 12 years\u2019 specialist experience across universities, vocational education providers, government and membership organisations to the role and will operate as an essential part of the business development team.<\/p>\n<p>Drawing on its depth of experience working successfully with universities in Australia and the UK, OES intends to develop new clients across the company\u2019s OPM and fee-for-service models. Ant will lead OES\u2019s efforts in generating further growth through successful brand-building for OES in the UK to make it a market leader in the services of online education.<\/p>\n<p>Andrea Burrows, UK Managing Director stated, \u201cI am very pleased to announce that Ant Bagshaw is joining the team. As part of our global growth he is a welcome addition, bringing deep knowledge of the UK and Australian higher education markets\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In his previous role, Ant was a Principal of an international management consultancy where he worked from their London and Melbourne offices as a higher education specialist. The consultancy partners with leaders to shape world-class universities and businesses, effective governments and empowered communities.<\/p>\n<p>Having previously worked at the London School Economics, University of Kent, University College London and Wonkhe, Ant brings extensive knowledge and experience of the UK and Australian higher education sectors and will be an invaluable addition to the OES leadership team.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I have been privileged to see OES grow and extend its reach in the UK, and am delighted to be joining the growing team at this time. Online education is vitally important, as has been demonstrated so clearly over the past couple of years. Ant co-edited <a href=\"https:\/\/www.routledge.com\/Influencing-Higher-Education-Policy-A-Professional-Guide-to-Making-an-Impact\/Bagshaw-McVitty\/p\/book\/9781138347076\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Influencing Higher Education Policy: A Professional Guide to Making an Impact (routledge.com)<\/a> and is currently a member of Council for The Dyson Institute of Engineering and
